검정(유색)티셔츠에 백색잉크를 사용하여 디지털평판프린팅을 할 때 스크린프린팅(나염인쇄) 처럼 보이도록 하는 몇 가지 방법이 있습니다.

When printing with white ink on black shirts, there are several ways to make the print look more like screen printing.

 

그 한 방법은 백색잉크를 더 많이 사용하는 것입니다. 스크린프린팅(나염인쇄)에선 일반적인 방법인데 디지털 평판프린팅에서는 일반적이지 않습니다. 그림티셔츠 DTG 평판프린터에서 사용하는 RIP(립) 프로그램을 이용하여 2회 혹은 3회까지 백색을 추가하면 스크린프린팅(나염인쇄)에서 느껴지는 중후한 품질을 느끼실 수 있습니다. 다만 그만큼의 잉크 비용과 시간 비용이 추가되겠네요.

One is to use more white ink on the underbase, which is typical in the screen-printing process. Increasing the white ink via the RIP or print driver will simulate this better, but remember that it also will increase costs.

 

 

다른 방법으로는 열프레스기를 사용하지 않는 것입니다. 대부분의 엡손개조형 평판프린터를 사용하는 업체에서는 열프레스기를 사용하여 그림티셔츠의 후처리를 할 것입니다. 그러나 열프레스기는 프린팅된 티셔츠의 백색 표면을 매끄럽게 처리하여서 스크린프린팅(나염인쇄)의 중후한 맛을 느낄 수 없습니다. 열풍건조기나 헤어드라이어를 사용하여 건조한다면 직물의 울퉁불퉁한 맛을 조금이나 표현할 수 있습니다.

Another option is to avoid heat pressing the shirt when curing the ink. Most DTG shops do not have access to a conveyor dryer, but compressing the white ink with a heat press will smooth out the ink surface. Using a dryer ultimately will result in retention of some of the “imperfections” of the white ink on the fabric, resulting in a more realistic, screen-printed look with a textured feel instead of super-smooth, “pressed” print.
